The hosts of the Talin tournament had an easy task, while Iceland got the win in the dog fight against the Netherlands in a game decided by two points.
Jakob Sigurdarson (photo) who had 20 points and Logi Gunnarsson with 16 led the charge in the 67-65 win over the Netherlands. Henk Norel with 12 points was the first among equals in a team effort by the losing side, while Roeland Schafternaar, the other leader of the team, wasn’t used.
Estonia got the easy 78-59 win over the Philippines. Janar Talts scored 20 points for the winners and Andray Blatche had 12 points for the dissapointing so far losing side.
