In a game that was the duel of the naturalized guards, Bobby Dixon scored 27 points, but A.J.Slaughter with 18 was the mad who decided the outcome in the 83-73 win of Poland over Turkey in the “Supercup” preparation tournament in Germany.
Playing without Marcin Gortat, Poland got a big win. A 8-0 run, which included five points by Slaughter made the score 81-73 with one minute to go and Turkey couldn’t do much after that. Mateusz Ponitka extended the run at 10-0 for the final 83-73.
Dixon or Ali Muhammed was the only double digits scorer for the losing side, on the contrary five players of Poland scored more than 10 points. Turkish young forward Cedi Osman was hurt near the end of the game.
