Almost a week before the start of the upcoming Eurobasket 2015, one key member of the French team is forbidden to play in the event. As the French federation announced, center Alexis Ajinca is out.
The player felt pain in his Achilles tendon since the start of the preparation period at the 20th of July. His condition remained unchanged, however the New Orleans Pelicans decided to forbid him from playing in the Eurobasket.
Mouhammadou Jaiteh, the last big man who was cut from the pre-selection of the team, was called back in order to replace Ajinca.
