It goes without saying that Holland is not one of the Eurobasket contenders, still the game of Giannis Antetokounmpo was impressive as Greece got the 92-80 win.
Giannis finished the game with 22 points – his personal best with the national team – on 11/16 FG, 3/5 of them from the three points range, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal and 1 turnover in 25 minutes of action. Four more players scored 1o points each, but it was Giannis’ night in front of his home town audience.
Still defense was an issue for the Greeks, as Holland scored 80 points Charlon Kloof had 17 points and Kees Akerboom added 16.
