This time it wasn’t only Valanciunas. Mindaugas Kuzminskas (18 p., 6 r.) and Arturas Milaknis (17 p., 3 r.) led Lithuania to the 94-72 win over Holland in the second day of the “Acropolis” Tournament in Athens, Greece.
Jonas Valanciunas was one of the five players who scored in double digits for the winners against a relatively weak opponent. Kees Akerboom had 15 points for Holland, still the gap of quality and experience between the two teams was evident in every quarter from start to finish. Lithuania never trailed and had the chance to bounce back after yesterday’s defeat by Turkey.
