Greece edged Turkey

In a very close game, Greece beat Turkey 62-58 in the big game of the second day of the “Acropolis” tournament in Athens, Greece. The game was decided on details and the debth of the Greek NT.

Nikos Zisis and Giorgos Printezis with 11 points each were the top scorers of the winners, Giannis Antetokounmpo (10 p., 9 r.) and Kostas Koufos (10 p., 8 r.) flirted with the double double, Giannis Bourousis was also near (8 p., 8 r.) and Vasilis Spanoulis added 9 points. For Turkey, Ersan Ilyasova was also impressive (12 p., 11 r., 4 as.), Melih Mahmutoglou had also 12 points but in end they couldn’t steal the game.
