Jacob Pullen scored 21 points, but missed the last shot of the game and Italy beat by one point (91-90) Georgia in the second game of Trieste’s preparation tournament first day.
Alessandro Gentile scored 22 points, Daniel Hackett 18 points and youngster Amadeo Della Valle scored the winning shot with 16 seconds left on the clock. Andrea Bargnani played just for four minutes before injuring his ankle, while Belinelli and Galinari added 14 points each.
Manuchar Markoisvhili had 19 points for Georgia and the duo of Sanikidze and Pachulia added 13 points each.
