Italy got the easy win over Michigan State (90-69), however the good news of the day in Trieste came from Andrea Bargnani. His ankle injury from yesterday’s game vs Georgia proved to be nothing serious.
Bargani is expected to play in the upcoming Eurobasket, however even without him, Italy was not match for the “Spartans”. Marco Belineli scored 25 points for the winners, Achille Polonara added 17 points, Pietro Aradori had 12 points and Daniel Hackett 11.
