The German national team coach Chris Fleming cut Akeem Vargas of ALBA Berlin and decided on the final roster of Germany for the upcoming Eurobasket.
Dirk Nowitzki and Dennis Schröeder are the main attractions and the team also includes: Heiko Schaffartzik, Robin Benzing, Tibor Pleiss, Anton Gavel, Maodo Lo, Karsten Ladda, Alex King, Niels Giffey, Paul Zipser and Johannes Voigtmann who was added after the injury of Maik Zirbes.
