After the first quarter and just a two points lead, France exploded and got the easy 81-54 win over Bosnia. The Eurobasket hosts got their way against an opponent with limited talent and solutions.
Tony Parker scored 11 points and tied Greek legend Nick Galis with 1030 career points in Eurobasket tournaments. However, Parker needed 61 games in order to reach this number, while Galis did it in 33 games, being four times the top scorer of the tournament. Not much else has to be written about this game, as France, Poland and Israel are now tied at the first place of the group standings with a 2-0 record. On the other hand, Russia, Finland and Bosnia are also tied (0-2) and every still has hopes for advancing in the second round.
