Belgium for the first time ever beat Lithuania with a tip in by Matt Lojeski, but maybe this is not the end of the story. It was a very close call, the referees used the instant replay, but the Lithuanian federation finally protests for the call.

The problem is that the Lithuanians didn’t make an appeal during the 15 minutes limit after the end of the game. They waited until they got back to their hotel and saw the video. When they did that, they decided that Lojeski’s shot should not have counted and now they are asking for a special exception from FIBA in order to review the call again. Still, it’s more than a long-shot for things to change at this point.
