Croatia underachieved in the Eurobasket 2015 and after the defeat by Czech Republic, all its members admitted that things couldn’t have gone worst.
As coach Perasovic said: “It was the worst game we could imagine, especiallyin the second half. We stopped playing. The Czechs broke open the game. Itwas a terrible game on our part and we can only say sorry to our fans”.
Experienced point guard Roko Leni Ukic added: “It’s very hard to say something smart after your opponent beat you by 20 points. It was one-way traffic. They beat us in everypart of the game. We were not ourselves today”.
Krunoslav Simon who also hurt his right leg, was devastated: “This is my worst day in basketball. I don’t know what to say, we are in shock”.
