Slovenia couldn’t make it to the Eurobasket quarterfinals and that result may also be the end of Jure Zdovc presence on the bench of team.
Speaking to the Slovenian press, Zdovc almost announced that he is ready to step down: “I am responsible for this result. And Ι am sure there will be consequences. Slovenia has many coaches, why there has to be only Zdovc? There are others who can take over this position. We have to calm down and take the right decisions”.
