Tony Parker admitted on Friday morning: “I haven’t slept yet”. It’s a hard day for the French national team and Nicolas Batum explained what was in his own words a “nightmare”.
As he said: “For 15 hours the only thing I have in my head is missing those free throws in overtime. We are living in a nightmare but we have to wake up and finish the job by winning a medal. We have to help Tony Parker, return to him some of the things he gave us. I have the greatest respect of him and I will continue showing him this, even if he averages 2 points per game”.
For Pau Gasol he added: “Even if some times his fouls are not called, he has won this because of his career and status”.
