After the bronze medal ceremony Nicolas Batum and Tony Parker took the mic and spoke to the 24.000 French fans who cheered for their national team for the last time in Eurobasket 2015.
Batum who missed the crucial free throws in the semifinal against Spain spoke first: “Thank you very much, you have supported us the best way possible. I am sorry for not winning the gold. You were amazing”. Tony Parker added: “You are an unbelievable crowd. Thank you for everything. Me and Nico, we promise to you that we will be again together in the national team and stronger in Rio 2016”.
