The French Basketball Federation announced Thursday its preliminary selection of players to compete in the upcoming 2022 FIBA EuroBasket.
Projected No. 1 pick of the 2023 NBA Draft Victor Wembanyama is highlighting the selection, while Vincent Collet’s team will be joined by the NBA might of Evan Fournier, Rudy Gobert, Frank Ntilikina, and Theo Maledon.
The French NT will meet in Paris on July 29, where they will begin their preparation. During the month of August, they will play six preparation games ahead of the big event.
France is seeded in Group B of the 2022 EuroBasket and will play against Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Bosnia, and Slovenia in the first round.
