Bosnia and Israel are the latest national teams to announce their rosters for the 2022 EuroBasket, three days before the launch of the tournament in four (Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Georgia) co-host countries
The duo of Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic and new Real Madrid wing Dzanan Musa will try to carry Bosnia past Group B (Slovenia, France, Germany, Lithuania and Hungary) and possibly to the Top 16 where the knockout games begin. The full roster of the Bosnian side in its EuroBasket return after 2015 also includes Miralem Halilović, John Roberson, Aleksandar Lazić, Amar Gegić, Emir Sulejmanović, Kenan Kamenjaš, Adin Vrabac, Edin Atić, Ajdin Penava and Sani Čampara.
Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija, Andorra guard Gal Mekel and Partizan Belgrade guard Yam Madar will lead the efforts of Israel in Group D, against Serbia, Poland, Finland, Netherlands and host Czech Republic. The rest of the squad is compiled by Tamir Blatt, Yovel Zoosman, Guy Pnini, Rafi Menco, Nimrod Levi, Tomer Ginat, Jake Cohen, Roman Sorkin and Idan Zalmanson.
The 2022 EuroBasket will be played from 1/9 to 18/9. The knockout rounds will be hosted in Berlin, Germany.
