Sergio Scariolo has decided to cut Fran Guerra and Juan Nunez from the final roster that will compete for Spain in the upcoming Eurobasket 2022.
The final roster: Darío Brizuela, Lorenzo Brown, Alberto Díaz, Rudy Fernandez, Jaime Fernandez, Usman Garuba, Willy Hernangomez, Juancho Hernangomez, Xabi López-Arostegui, Joel Parra, Jaime Pradilla and Sebas Saiz are the players included in the roster. Practically, Rudy remains the only link with the glorious recent past of the team after Sergio Llull’s injury.
Spain will compete in Group A against the hosts Georgia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Montenegro and last but not least Turkey for one of the four spots which give qualification to the Round of 16.
