Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Giannis Kouzeloglou, and Dimitris Kaklamanakis are the three latest cuts from the roster of the Greek national team, which will travel with 14 players tomorrow for Italy and Eurobasket 2022, in order to make the final decision about the roster in the 11th hour.
Dimitris Itoudis had already mentioned this possibility and it’s up to the doctors to give clearance to Kostas Sloukas, Ioannis Papapetrou, Kostas Antetokounmpo and George Papagiannis to play. There’s restrained optimism that ultimately all four will be included in the final roster, even if some of them will not be ready to help from the get-go.
The rest of the players included in the roster are the following: Nick Calathes, Dimitris Papanikolaou, Michalis Lountzis, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Tyler Dorsey, Lefteris Bochoridis, Leonidas Kaselakis, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Dimitris Agravanis.
Two more cuts must be made before the start of the tournament.
