The Ukrainian Basketball Federation announced the roster of the national team for the upcoming EuroBasket (1/9 – 18/9).
Sacramento Kings center Alex Len and forward Svi Mykhailiuk (currently a free agent after being waived by the Toronto Raptors) are the biggest names on the squad.
The full list is as follows: Denis Lukashov, Vitaliy Zotov, Illia Sidorov, Issuf Sanon, Svi Mykhailiuk, Bogdan Bliznyuk, Vyacheslav Bobrov, Ivan Tkachenko, Volodymir Gerun, Dmytro Skapintsev, Artem Pustovyi, Alex Len.
The Ukrainian national team will participate in Group B which will be held in Milan, Italy. They will face Greece, Croatia, Great Britain and host Italy and try to secure one of the top four spots that will lead to the knockout phase in Berlin, Germany.
