The Serbian national team left Belgrade for Prague and EuroBasket 2022, but Nikola Milutinov will remain in Serbia until Sunday.
Coach Svetislav Pesic decided to let the Serbian center rest from an illness before arriving at the team hotel.
It was recommended by the team doctors that the CSKA Moscow center get some rehabilitation time. Per Mozzart Sport nothing serious is involved, and coach Svetislav Pesic pointed out before leaving for the Czech Republic that he expects him with the team on Sunday.
“He will come when he recovers, in two or three days. He could hardly be able to play the first two games, but after that we have a day off and I hope he will come on Sunday morning to prepare for the next games,” he said.
