Still, it was a great morning for the French national team and Andrew Albicy as they managed to get the overtime win over Turkey and advance to the quarterfinals, where they will play against either Serbia or Italy.
And if you think that it’s too early for such a matchup between France and Serbia, for Albicy it is what it is: “We will have to play whoever is in front of us. We have to give everything to beat them and advance to the semifinals”.
Since Serbia is the favorite over Italy, Albicy was also asked to pick his favorite so far from Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Luka Doncic, the three superstars of the Eurobasket. From the answer, you might understand that he is expecting Serbia to be his next opponent: “It’s difficult to say because they are different players. But if I need to choose, I would say Jokic. He is more complete, he is doing a little bit of everything on the court. So I would say Jokic”.
