FIBA has revealed the logo of the upcoming 2025 Eurobasket, the next big continental national teams competition in Europe after the Paris Olympics.
Per the press release: The countdown to FIBA EuroBasket 2025 has reached an important milestone with the launch of the official logo on Tuesday.
The design of the logo and the visual identity creates a strong, bold appearance to enable a lasting impression for the 42nd edition of Europe’s flagship competition, which will be co-hosted by Cyprus, Finland, Latvia and Poland.
Each of the four host cities of Limassol, Tampere, Katowice and Riga is represented with specific color combinations within the visual identity while the logo itself is comprised of modern graphic elements with a slick, architectural construction.
“There is always great anticipation as we look ahead to the premier European event on the basketball calendar, and the launch of the official logo is a key milestone to capture the excitement of the fans,” said FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak.
“We are delighted with the outcome of the logo, which was chosen in cooperation with the four hosts. It is through working closely together that we can ensure FIBA EuroBasket 2025 will be another spectacular event.”
The next chapter on the court will take place in February 2024 when the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers commence with the first of three windows to ultimately determine the 24 nations competing at the Final Round.
FIBA EuroBasket 2025 will take place from August 27 – September 14, 2025 and marks the fourth successive edition in the four-country hosting format following the previous successes.
Spain are the reigning champions having lifted the prestigious trophy for a fourth time, in Berlin, back in 2022.
