Klemen Prepelic scored 30 points and dished out nine assists as Slovenia beat Ukraine 87 – 73 to start the 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers on a high note.
Prepelic took over the offense and imposed his rhythm completely. The Ukrainian defense was simply unable to stop him, as he finished the game with 14-15 free throws, apart from his 4 – 9 triples.
Jaka Blazic provided Slovenia with 18 points plus eight rebounds while Mike Tobey had 11 points plus nine boards.
Oleksandr Kovliar led Ukraine with 23 points and eight assists. Vyacheslav Bobrov posted 17 points plus six rebounds.
