Among the most intriguing candidates for the 2025 NBA draft, Hugo Gonzalez is heading to the senior national of Spain.
Experienced selector Sergio Scariolo picked 13 players for the next international window and the bottom end of the Qualifiers for the 2025 EuroBasket, as announced by the Spanish Basketball Federation, FEB, on Tuesday.
Entering a mix of promising youngsters and experienced veterans, 19-year-old Gonzalez is set for his first cap at the senior level.

After clinching a berth in the EuroBasket in November, Spain will face Latvia on February 20 and Belgium on February 23 to complete a six-game schedule.
With Finland securing an automatic berth as one of the four hosts of this summer’s tournament, Basketball Finland also presented options for the approaching window on Tuesday. The remaining fixtures are opposite Serbia on February 21 and Denmark on February 24.
