Daniel Theis has been added to the roster of the senior national team of Germany for the approaching games in the 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers.
On the verge of completing a move to AS Monaco and returning to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the 32-year-old German big is also combining his exit from the NBA with international duties.
The Salzgitter native is expected to join the team coached by Alex Mumbru after the clash with Montenegro in Podgorica on February 20 and barring a setback play against Bulgaria in Bamberg on February 23.
The German Basketball Federation, DBB, officially added Theis and JDA Dijon’s Christian Sengfelder to options for Mumbru on Thursday.
