The roster of the senior national team of Czechia for this week’s international window was reduced to 14 players.
The Czech Basketball Federation updated the selections of head coach Diego Ocampo on Monday.
With Jan Vesely sidelined due to an injury in his right knee, FC Barcelona teammate Tomas Satoransky headlined the picks for the faceoffs with Greece in Pardubice on Friday and with Great Britain in Newcastle on Monday, to complete the six-game double-legged round-robin schedule of the 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers.
Czechia’s roster
- Richard Balint (Brno)
- Ondrej Balvin (Monbus Obradoiro)
- Jaromir Bohacik (ERA Nymburk)
- David Bohm (EPG Guardians Koblenz)
- Ondrej Hanzlik (Zamora)
- Vojtech Hruban (ERA Nymburk)
- Ondrej Hustak (BAXI Manresa)

Ocampo’s side enters the last FIBA window dedicated to the Qualifiers of this summer’s continental tournaments at 2-2 in Group F, tied with Great Britain, trailing Greece by one game, and one game over the Netherlands. After the last two fixtures, the complicated situation will be resolved with the top three seeds clinching a berth in the EuroBasket.
Czechia has been part of the last four installments of the EuroBasket, including a seventh-place finish in 2015. In addition, the country featured in the 2020 Olympic Games and 2019 FIBA World Cup.
The called-up players are gathering at Podebrady to launch a brief training camp.
