Partnership agreements were first implemented at FIBA EuroBasket 2015 and have been embraced by all the federations who have been selected to co-host the flagship tournament since, as an invaluable tool that facilitates the organization and logistical of such a big event.
“The partnership concept started hand-in-hand with the four co-hosts format, and it will be a key ingredient in the success of FIBA EuroBasket 2025, similarly to the previous three editions,” FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak said.
“I would like to congratulate all four co-hosts for working methodically to secure partnerships that will boost marketing opportunities and will facilitate the fans’ desire to support their national team at the big event, while respecting the clear framework of draw seedings.”
The Group Phase of FIBA EuroBasket 2025, in Limassol, Tampere, Riga and Katowice, will tip off on August 27, while the Final Phase will take place in Arena Riga, with the European champions set to be crowned on September 14.”
