Serbia survived Russia

Two more warm up games for the upcoming Eurobasket were played on Monday, but the first match up didn’t produced any real thrills. Lithuania hosted Sweden, Linas Kleiza led the offense with 18 points and the final score (97-69) in favor of “Lietuva” is an actual representation of what happened on the court.

In Belgrade, Serbia beat Russia 84-79 in a really competitive encounter. Despite the missing stars (Serbians Nenad Krstic and Milos Teodosic, Russian Alexey Shved) the game was close, the score was tied at 76 with three minutes left and Russia had the chance to get an overtime, but Cleveland’s Sergei Karasev (photo) missed the three which would have made the score 82-82.
