France beat Serbia in overtime (78-74) in a thrilling game. Lauvergne had a double double and led his team to the win. Krstic and Kalinic were the best from Serbia. Finland prevailed 88-66 over Great Britain

The first Eurobasket 2013 preparation game that needed overtime was played between France and Serbia. After 40 minutes both team scored 69 points but in the extra period the hosts won 78-74. Tony Parker made a crucial 3 pointer, 14 seconds before the end of the game but the player who shined was Lauvergne with a double-double (22 p., 11 reb.).

Also, on Thursday Finland beat easily Great Britain in Helsinki 88-66 with Koponen being once again the leader of his team. On Wednesday Georgia beat Bosnia and Herzegovina (81-78) and Lithuania prevailed over Sweden (95-64).
