Bo McCalebb scored 25 points, Atlanta’s Pero Antic added 16 and 10 rebounds as FYROM came from behind and beat Greece 77-75 in the preparation tournament of Ulm. The Greeks were playing at full strength with Vasilis Spanoulis and Giannis Bourousis back in action from injuries and that was their first defeat in preparation games. On the other hand after a mediocre season as a member of Fenerbahce/ Ulker, McCalebb is reminding his good old self.

In Istanbul, despite still playing without Milos Teodosic – and also without Lucic – Serbia proved to be in good shape in the 88-71 win over Croatia, as Nenad Krstic was once again the best player of the winners with 19 points and 9 rebounds against All Euroleague center Ante Tomic.

In Lithuania, Russia exploded against Finland (90-73) and the hosts of the tournaments got one more easy win, this time over Czech Republic with the final score being 69-55. With Jonas Valanciunas emerging as the leading force of the team, the Lithuanians won the tournament by staying unbeaten in three games.

Also, in Poland, Sweden proved to be a lot better than Great Britain. The final score was 85-68 and Jeffery Taylor of Charlotte Bobcats finished the game with 33 points.
