Croatia in theory has the players to compete with anyone in Europe, but in the recent past that didn’t translate to good Eurobasket results and it seems that once more history will repeat itself. After cutting power forward Darko Planinic, coach Jasmin Repesa learned that forward Marko Tomas due to an injury to his quadriceps he will have to stay out of action for the next three or four weeks.
And that’s not the end of it. Panathinaikos‘ guard Roko Leni Ukic missed some practices for the last few days, he is feeling pain in his Achilles tendon and that makes his contribution on the floor questionable. Ukic probably will be a part of the final roster, however it’s still unknown if he will be 100% ready to help his team in Slovenia. Αccording to the latest infos, Ukic started again to work out with the rest of the team.
