With two defeats in two games and a very bad performance so far, Turkish national team is in a very difficult position. Group D has a day off on Friday, the other teams continued their practices as usual, but coach Bogdan Tanjevic tried a different route. Instead of a regular practice, he held a 30 minutes meeting with his team as he wanted to speak with his players about their woes and try to figure out what can they do in order to avoid an early exit from Εurobasket.
As Tanjevic said in the press conference after Thursday’s defeat from Italy: “I cannot explain it to you. I still have to think about it, to have a better conclusion and more exact”.
