The Spanish national team was crowned EuroBasket Women champion for the third time in history after defeating France in the Final.

Spain beat France 71 – 55 in the Final of the EuroBasket Women 2017 tournament held in Prague and won its third continental title following 1993 and 2013.

Sancho Lyttle flirted with the double-double with 19 points and eight rebounds while Alba Torrens notched 18 points for the Spaniards. Torrens also won EuroBasket MVP honors after finishing the tournament with 17.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Celine Dumerc dropped 15 points for France that lost its third consecutive EuroBasket Final.

Belgium won the bronze medal after blowing away Greece 78 – 45 behind 18 points, five rebounds and four assists courtesy of Kim Mestdagh.

Evina Maltsi led the Greek squad in scoring with 13 points.

The All-Tournament Team was compiled by MVP Alba Torrens (Spain), Endene Miyem (France), Emna Meesseman (Belgium) and Cecilia Zandalasini (Italy) and Evina Maltsi (Greece).
