According to Serbian newspaper “Večernje Novosti” Simonovic complained about the pain in his right hand and thumb, he left the training camp of the Serbian national team and returned to Belgrade for further examinations.
While there’s no official confirmation yet, Simonovic’s injury is expected to prevent him from playing with the national team in order to be ready for the upcoming season with his new club Zenit.
