Fabien Causeur won’t be able to help the French national team in the EuroBasket.
As the French Basketball Federation announced, the new Real Madrid guard suffers from “persistent foot pain” which prevents him from practicing properly. Following some further medical examinations, the player was declared “unfit” for the preparation ahead of the EuroBasket and was ruled out of the tournament.
Causeur is the second player of “Les Bleus” that leaves the preparation camp due to physical problems, following Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. Per the French Federation, there hasn’t been a decision regarding a replacement on the preliminary roster.
