Ukraine closed the “International Preparation Tournament” in Patras, Greece, by destroying Romania 91 – 57.
Maksym Pustozonov with 15 points and Aleksandar Misula who scored 14 and added 4 rebounds and 4 assists were the top players for the winning squad that practically finished the game by the end of the first half.
Romania was competitive in the first quarter (24 – 20) but scored only seven in the second period while receiving 25 points. Ukraine didn’t relax on the 49 – 27 halftime lead and continued controlling all aspects of the game until the final buzzer.
Andre Mandache dropped 14 points and Giordan Lee-Watson 10 for Romania.
