The ‘Furias Rojas’ beat their opponents with an imposing 90-44 triumph, in their first game after Sergio Llull’s injury. Marc Gasol dropped 16 points, Willy Hernangomez added 12.
A game to be remembered, as Juan Carlos Navarro broke the 240 participations barrier with the Spanish national team, a record which was held by Juan Antonio San Epifanio’s 239. The game stopped at the 7th minute and Navarro was honored by “Epi” himself.
The Spanish players supported recently injured Llull wearing jerseys with the slogan “Animo, Llull”, and the latter posted his own thank you message on twitter:
