Despite missing many key players, Serbia got the 86-78 win in the Hamburg tournament with Vladimir Lucic scoring 22 points.
Bogdan Bogdanovic had only 8 points but also five assists, Boban Marjanovic added 12 points and Ognen Kuzmic scored 10 points.
Mateusz Ponitka with 22 points did the best he could, but it was not enough for Poland.
