After an intensive discussion between King and Chris Fleming, the two sides agreed that he won’t be joining the rest of the squad in Eurobasket.
The 32-year-old player will now go directly into Bayern’s preparation for the new season, yet he has set himself at the team’s disposal, if necessary.
“I show understanding for Alex’s situation. He was always there with full commitment and is a real role model for young players. Now we will be fully concentrated at EuroBasket with the remaining 14 players”, said Fleming after the announcement.
