Kalinic who missed both the preparation tournaments in Hamburg, Germany, and Athens, Greece, is not ready yet to practice.
As he admitted to “Vecernje Novosti” he is not ready: “I feel horrible. To be honest, if there were not so many absences from the national team, I would probably already be at home. But I have an obligation on the other players and everyone else to try to get back to practices. Simply, I want to play in the Eurobasket, but the body can no longer withstand it. For the last five or six years, my schedule is exhausting. There’s a big problem, not just for my career, but I would probably have to deal with it for the rest of my life”.
