After beating France and notching the top spot in group A, Slovenian wunderkind Luka Doncic spoke highly of the “Dragon”.
“He’s shown that he is one of the best players in this Eurobasket”, Doncic said. “He is a true leader and we are so happy to have him here because he can do everything, not just scoring” he added. “He makes us play like a team, he’s the captain, he’s the leader and everyone can learn a lot of things from him.”
Slovenia now awaits their opponent in the round of 16 which can be Georgia, Italy, or Ukraine.
