Serbia got the win against Belgium (74-54) and now awaits the result of Latvia-Turkey that will determine their seeding and opponent in the knock-out round.
If Latvia manages to beat the hosts in Istanbul, then Serbia will finish first. Latvia will conquer second place and Russia and Turkey would be third and fourth respectively.
The star: It was a team effort by Serbia who was led by Boban Marjanović in the scoring column with 22 points. Also, Bogdan Bogdanovic just missed a double-double with 15 points and 9 assists.
The key: Realistically, the game was close only for 10 minutes (18-13). After the start of the second quarter Serbia imposed their will and cruised to victory.
Manu Lecomte had 12 points for the losing side.
