Speaking to the Greek journalists at today’s press conference, Bourousis was more than sincere: “I think only tomorrow’s game. I have to be honest, I have not helped the team so far and it’s like I don’t exist on the court. I will try to bring out my experience against Lithuania. A broken hand, a broken rib, no matter what… The point is what will happen tomorrow. I am 13 years in this team and if you put a camera in the locker rooms, you will see that nothing bad has happened with the exception of my incident which Pappas, which had nothing to do with the team. Tomorrow’s game will define if we will be part of the elite or not”.
Bourousis also talked about Nikos Galis entering the hall of fame tonight: “I am too small to speak about Nikos Galis and I am sad because I have not met him yet in person. I would like to meet him and take his autograph because he was the reason that we loved and played the game. We thank him for everything”.
