“Besides Bojan [Bogdanovic], they all played without energy, without heart”, said Predrag Saric on Croatian newspaper “Vecernji List“.
Saric senior is well known for speaking his mind out and being more than critical about his son. “I can not understand that Dario says he played a good game, that they did their best. They did not”, it was his reaction.
Croatia faced a tough defeat against Russia, with 101-78 on Sunday. “There were two key reasons for it. First, bad defense and the other was Dario’s game. He was a 20-point player but in that game, he wasn’t even in court”, said bluntly Predrag Saric.
