Goran Dragic scored 35 points in the Final. Only Pau Gasol with 36 points in 2003, Hall of Famer Nikos Galis with 40 in 1987 and current Serbian national team coach Sasha Djordjevic with 41 points in 1995 have previously scored more than him in the tournament’s title match..
The Dragon and his teammate, Luka Doncic, got two spots in the Best Five of the tournament, alongside the top scorer of the Eurobasket 2017, Alexey Shved, and Serbian star Bogdan Bogdanovic.
The only non-guard included in the Best Five was Spanish icon Pau Gasol who led his team to the third place.
