After the early two defeats in α row, Russia came back and is still alive. hoping to qualify to Eurobasket 2015. The players of coach Evgeny Pashutin destroyed Switzerland (101-56) and “answered” for their loss in the first gameday.
Czech Republic beat easily Georgia 86-67 and mixed the situation in Group E. Belgium beat FYROM 63-60 and the two teams are now sharing the top of Group D. One of the biggest upsets was the win of Iceland against Great Britain (71-69) and now the upcoming game Bosnia-Iceland will be more than decisive for the qualification in Group A. Also Montenegro lost to Israel and the situation is real tough for them now in Group B.
