Bosnia, Israel, Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Belgium, FYROM, Georgia, Czech Republic, Latvia, Italy, Iceland and Russia qualified in the Eurobasket 2015 through the qualification round. 11 more teams have secured their participation earlier

Bosnia, Israel, Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Belgium, FYROM, Georgia, Czech Republic, Latvia, Italy, Iceland and Russia qualified to Eurobasket 2015 through the qualification round. To complete to puzzle you must take into account that there are 11 more teams (Ukraine, Spain, Estonia, France, Slovenia, Croatia, Lithuania, Serbia, Greece, Finland and Turkey) that secured their participation by the previous Eurobasket.

The biggest surprise in the qualification round was the elimination of Montenegro after the last gameday loss by Netherlands (68-55) which qualified for the first time after 1989!

Poland and Germany won their last games and qualified. Also Belgium and FYROM got the ticket. Hungary lost the chance to return after many years in the Eurobasket, while Georgia and Czech Republic had the same points but also the advantage against Hungary. Latvia  had secured their place since the last gameday and Italy beat Switzerland and finished its duty alongside with Russia.

The results of the last gameday are the following (boxscores): Group A: Iceland-Bosnia 70-78, Group B: Israel-Bulgaria 61-69, Netherlands-Montenegro 68-55, Group C: Luxembourg-Germany 66-118, Poland-Austria 90-85, Group D: Denmark-Belgium 63-77, FYROM-Belarus 72-66, Group E: Hungary-Czech Republic 83-68, Georgia-Portugal 71-59, Group F: Romania-Latvia 70-82, Sweden-Slovak Republic 83-77, Group G: Switzerland-Italy 65-80.
