The most difficult group of Eurobasket 2015 will take place in Berlin and this is almost a historical coincidence since the great Dirk Nowitzki is expected to play for the first time in his career in front of the German fans in an official FIBA tournament. This demanded a walk on the streets of Berlin near the O2 World Arena. Eurohoops presents the view of the fans with most of them considering Dirk the best German athlete ever and being eager to see him live!

Dirk Nowitzki may have to say good bye to the German National Team and this could be the best possible way. In his country, in a big tournament, like Eurobasket 2015, as it is deserved to one of the all time. In front of his countrymen, he is going to live great moments of worship and glorification. Berlin hosts the preliminary group B of Eurobasket 2015 and the super star of Maverics apart, unless something dramatic happens, will be there.

Dirk hasn’t officially declared when he is going to retire from the German National Team, for which he played for more than ten years, despite his lengthy and laborious seasons with Maverics in NBA. In recent years because of his age, he was absent. However, he has stated that if he is not injured, he is going to play in Eurobasket 2015 because of his love for German National Team! This scenario seems quite possible and that was one of the reasons Berlin will host the second group of the tournament.

The challenge is major both for Nowitzki and the German national team as Berlin hosts the most demanding and interesting group of the tournament including also the National Teams of Spain, Serbia, Italy, Turkey and Iceland.

Eurohoops is already in Berlin, guiding you to the court in which Dirk Nowitzki may have his swan song with the German national team and presents you how Berliners -German or not- are looking forward to this tournament.
