Emir Preldzic wants to rest this summer as he revealed during the recent Fenerbahce/ Ulker media day and according to local reports his teammate Andrew Goudelock, Darussafaka’s Jordan Farmar and Karsiyaka’s Bobby Dixon are the main candidates to replace him.
Farmar already talked about this possibility and Goudelock during a recent interview in Eurosport Turkey added: “I have no offer on the table from the Turkish federation, however it will be an honor for me to play”. It remains to be seen which American guard will be added in the roster for the upcoming Eurobasket 2015 as a naturalized player.
As for Preldzic, he said: “We want to win TBL and Euroleague and I am pushing myself hard. That makes my injuries worse. I want to rest this summer but my heart will be with Turkish NT. If they’ll call me again, I want to be a part of the national team again in the future.”
